Man...................oh man, i wish i were getting married this year. I have to wait until May 2009 for my wedding. I'm excited. I can't wait to be united w/ one of the loves of my life. The first being JC (Jesus Christ). But i know i will be reunited with Him one day as well. Patience is truly a virtue. I'm just ready to begin my life with Chris. We have been together for 5 going on 6 years. I'm fortunate to have someone like him in my life. Congrats on your big day! It's only 6months away. Just keep taking deep breathes :). I know you must be excited. I'm excited for you. I think marriage is a beautiful concept. I wish you all the best and now that i know your getting married........I will keep you and your fiance in my prayers. Let's keep in contact.

CONGRATS NINA!!!Girl! I totally understand! I had not too many issues with my bridesmaids, but one had to leave due to circumstances. Weddings can be (let's be honest) time consuming, expensive and frustrating. I just got married in November, and didn't realize how much work it was going to be. Don't you sometimes feel like: why can't anyone understand what I'm going through! It's like screaming in a crowded room and no one hearing you. Sis, the one thing you always want to do in any situation is rep Christ. So the first thing you have to be honest with yourself about is this: 1) Should I have said what I said to her differently instead of responding out of my own personal frustrations against her. 2) What can I do to reconcile the situation. You already have a lot on your plate and the last thing that you should have to do is become even MORE stressed out than you already are. I think you should try to reach out to your friend and apologize and see what you can do to work things out. 3) Yes, it's true, she shouldn't be shackin', but in the same breath, love her inspite of. She needs to see your example, and your lifestyle, which will probably encourage her, to change hers. Don't judge her. Girl, we all fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. She needs prayer and moreso, she needs you.

I TOTALLY understand your frustration though, but you have to stay prayed up and encouraged in spite of. What do you think?
