"Take heart, daughter," He said, "your faith has healed you."
"You Get What You Give!"
2Cor. 9:6 'But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also
sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also
bountifully.'
So many of us are suffering from a lack of love. We don't feel loved at
times or we feel like we can't trust people. It's hard to love without trust
because you must first trust to love. Well, we must realize that when we do not
trust people, we never allow them the chance to love us. And when we sow
mistrust, we reap a lack of love. You see, many times we have to take a chance on
love. Every relationship you form and every person you decide to bring into
your life must first be trusted and then love can be birthed from that.
But if you decide to not trust a person or always try to protect yourself from
getting hurt, then you will reap the same thing you are giving.
When you guard yourself from getting hurt, you also guard yourself
from the chance of being loved. Friends, family, spouses, co-workers, etc.
all deserve the chance to love you. But because of our past, sometimes we
are reluctant to allow people the chance to become apart of our lives.
So,we end up miserable, always complaining about the lack of love and bad
friendships we have. And many times it's our fault! I would rather have a long list
of people that I took a chance on, whether it turned out good or bad, than
have no list of people because I didn't trust anyone. Your past is your past. You have to get past it and allow people the opportunity to love you.
You can't just complain about the lack of love you have without sowing love.
If you don't sow love, then you will not reap love. And if you don't trust
people and you say things like "everyone is against me" or "no one loves me"
then you reap those very things you sow out of your mouth! You have what
you say and your lack of love and good relationships came from your
words and your mistrust in others. So, when you are ready to take a chance
on love and sow it bountifully, then you will eventually reap love bountifully. God's word is true and he cannot lie. Whatever you sow,you will reap. Our earthly relationships are designed to give us a glimpse of what God's love is all about. It's the natural proof of a greater love that we can experience through him! So, when we mistrust and hide our love toward others, we are only making it harder to show our love for God! Don't live your life in a box because you have been hurt or don't trust people anymore.
Allow God to heal you and make you free so you can love again and trust again.
After all, it's through your earthly relationships that you are going to show
God's love anyway.
